Cody was born at Cardston Hospital, January 9, 1983. His earlier years, he grew up in Cardston, close to his Grandparents, Emma & George, who really spoiled their first grandson. He then moved to Lethbridge, then to Standoff with his parents. Being the oldest he really took care of his siblings when his parents were at work or bingo. Cody was a very caring person, especially to his only sister, Dakota. Cody enjoyed going hunting, fishing and learning stuff from his uncle Bernie. He always talked about his adventures with him. It was his uncle Bernie that got Cody into Metallica . . . Metallica and Hunting. Cody enjoyed going to work with his Dad, doing and learning carpentry, especially dry walling and boarding. His dad’s teaching helped Cody through his world of employment. Cody became a good drywall mudder. His training got him jobs with Jessie Day Rider, Tim Begishe, Noslo Contracting (drywalling), Triple M, S.R.I., And numerous contracts. Cody attended several schools to achieve his education, including Little Pony and Standoff Elementary. Everything Cody learned he tried to pass his skills down to his younger brothers. He “TRIED”, because you know how brothers were, always disagreeing and fighting amongst each other. Cody enjoyed visiting with his family, his grandpa Sam, he enjoyed hanging out with his adopted brothers. Especially with Colin Bird, where they would round up their buddies and cuzzins and find the nearest court to enjoy many many hours playing what they loved, basketball. While living on the Rez, Cody met the love of his life, Christina, together they created a loving family. Cody found work to help support his family and the 4 beautiful children they have. Cody enjoyed life and made numerous friends, many that we do not know of.
