Jayden Bryce Bird, who was affectionately known as JB was born on December 21, 1995, in Cardston, AB to Shannon Bird. JB passed away on October 8, 2023, in Coaldale, AB.
JB was a bright light to all that knew him. His incredible sense of humor, charming personality, and the ability to make everyone smile and feel special were just some of the things that will be missed about him. He loved and looked forward to all holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. His enthusiasm for the holidays was contagious and unmatched.
Music, drawing, and sports, especially bike riding and basketball, were among the things he enjoyed most. JB loved to give his special pieces of art to his friends and spent a lot of time making special art projects to decorate his home.
Jayden is survived and missed by his grandmother, Carol Bird, older brother Tryson (Talsa) Vold, foster parent Mary Allison and many foster siblings and siblings. Aunts, Edna Bird, Alannah (Warren) Bird, Luann Bird, and Uncle Chad (Katie) Creighton as well as numerous biological family members. He will also be missed by many friends, especially those at Rehoboth Christian Ministries.
Jayden was predeceased by his mother, Shannon Bird, aunt Michelle Bird, Grandfather Henry Creighton, and his foster parent Garry Allison.
The impact JB made on his friends and family the past 27 years is profound and he will be missed every day. Music, especially rap music was his heart and soul, and to quote one of his favorite artists Eminem, "love is just a word, but you bring it definition." We will carry your love and kindness in everything we do. Rest easy and fly high JB.
Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, October 20 from 9:00 - 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Blood Band cemetery.
