She was also raised by her Aunty and Uncle Josephine and Herman (deceased) Vielle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Sharon attended school in Standoff, Fort Macleod, Edmonton and LCC. Sharon was a kind, loving and generous person. She was well liked and had many friends. She adored her grandchildren and was always concerned for their well being. Her hobbies included making crafts, sewing and cooking. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and joking ways. Sharon may have been small in stature but she was very feisty if you got in her way. She was the “pillar of strength” for her family. In 2012, Sharon lost her father, Samuel, whom she cherished and loved very much. She was a “Daddy’s Girl”. His passing caused so much sadness in her life that it took a toll on her health. She made her “Search” and ”Cursillo” on the Blood Reserve. Her past employments included Blood Tribe Public Works, Blood Tribe Police Station and other employment contributions elsewhere.
Sharon was predeceased by her father, Samuel Wolf Child; brothers Jason Bird and Bernie Rabbit; grandparents Sam and Elizabeth Wolf Child, Mini Mountain Horse and Gordon Bird; niece Jasmine Vielle; many other loved ones who passed before her.
