Leonard Paul Black Forehead
May 4, 1968 - September 12, 2021
It is great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Paul Forehead, he was born on May 4, 1968 in Cardston Blood Indian Hospital to the late Jack and Amy Black Forehead. Leonard also known as Ross was suddenly called home to be with our creator on September 12, 2021. Ross was known for his kindness, he made friends old and young. In his younger years Ross was known to be a bull rider, but due to circumstances he was unable to pursue it. Ross had many talents in his younger days, he was an avid ballplayer. Ross was known for his wicked throw from outfield to homebase. His passion was firefighting but most of all, he was so proud to be a grandpa. Ross enjoyed travelling the powow trails with his parents and brothers Terrence, TJ and Cory.
Ross especially loved his daughters and grandchildren. Ross was a simple man, who liked his privacy, he was often lonely for his parents, he was their baby and is now reunited with them.
Ross is survived by his daughters: Sarah (Wyle), Shaneese; two grandchildren: Wesley Tye Tahtayken and Aurora Ross; Ross also had a special bond with nephew Carter Weasel Head; siblings: Catherine, Annette (Myron), Edna (Allan), Marilyn [her children: Kim (Heward), Shilo (Dalen), Lacey (Kendan), and Cory], Brenda, Daniel (Bettina) and Terrence; sister-in-law Elizabeth Black Forehead; He also leaves behind a special friend Jessica Bullshields; adopted brothers: TJ Whiteman and Ivan Eli. Ross will be missed deeply by all his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended families, the Wolf Childs and Eagle Speakers.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents Jack and Amy, brother Adrian, Sister Cindy Black Forehead, Nephews Charles Old Shoes and Jared Crow Eagle, niece Tanya Marie Black Forehead. Leonard was a loving and caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews, he will be greatly missed by all who loved him deeply as well by his friends. The family apologizes for anybody missed.
