Alden Jr. Troy Black Plume - Shouting

Alden Jr. Troy Black Plume-Shouting was born on October 8, 1982, to Alden Jacque (Oscar) Black Plume and the late Annette Marie Shouting in Lethbridge, Alberta. Troy passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of thirty-nine years old in Lethbridge, Alberta. Troy will forever be remembered by his Partner Twyla Russell, his children: Treysen (Margo) Iron Shirt, Troyton, Taige, Tace, Ta-char Russell and Mackenzie Gros Venture Boy. His siblings: Tiffany Long Time Squirrel, Star (Vernon) Black Plume, Michael Dylan Black Plume, Shayla First Charger, Timothy (Butch) Scout, Godfrey Shouting, Sophia Black Plume, Tania (Lionel) Black Plume and Thelma Jean (Chris) Messinger. Troy loved his niece’s: Shaniell Wells and Marie Jade Eagle Plume and his nephew’s: Logan Heavy Head, Mika Heavy Head, Cobin Bull Shields, Jacob Bull Shileds, Jayden Mistaken Chief and Jalen Wolf Plume like his own. 
He is survived by his maternal aunties: Agnes, Stella, Veronica, Roberta. His maternal uncles: Francis (Judy), Robert, Gary (Joanne), Brian (Michelle) First Charger. His surviving aunts on the Shouting side: Christine Little Bear and Brenda Chief Moon and one Uncle Chris (Sandra) Shade. Troy is survived by his paternal aunties: Gloria (Randy) Jim, Ramona White Man, Noreen (Emile) Black Plume and Trina Black Plume. His paternal uncle Tim Black Plume. He is predeceased by his daughter: Taliyah – Joy Russell, his maternal side: his mother Annette Shouting, his brother Ian Black Plume, his uncle’s Mike and Craig Shouting, his aunt Charlene Shouting and his grandparents Jerome Shouting and Genevieve (First Charger). He is predeceased by his paternal side: his auntie Violet Big Sorrel Horse and his paternal uncle’s Larry Big Sorrel Horse and Michel Across the Mountain. His paternal cousin Joshua Big Sorrel Horse and his paternal grandparents: Alfred Across the Mountain and Virginia Big Sorrel Horse-Black Plume. Troy was loved by numerous people. He has numerous family and friends that loved him like a brother. We are sorry for any names that we may have missed. 
Troy was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He grew up in Lethbridge, Cardston and the Blood Tribe-Kainai area, located in Southern, Alberta. Troy comes from many different clan members: Mamio-yiksi (Fish Eater Clan), Aakaipokakaiski (Many Children) aka I’naksiiksi (Small Blankets) and Pottstakiiksi (Choker’s aka Tea Drinking Clan). He attended school in Lethbridge at General Stewart and Park Meadows School. Troy loved his children and worked very hard to provide for his family. Troy worked numerous jobs in construction, roofing and firefighting. Troy enjoyed sports, music and hanging out with his friends and family. His children were his world. He taught his children the necessities of life such as: tying their shoes, cleaning, cooking, sports, music and how to take care of themselves and survive. He always spoke of his children and was always happy to be with them. Troy had numerous friends and family that loved him. Troy grew up with his auntie whom he took as a mother, Noreen Black Plume, the First Charger, Mistaken Chief and Soosay Family. Troy always remembered his special friend that is predeceased, Cherie Iron Shirt, which they had their oldest son, Treysen Iron Shirt. Then Troy met his beloved Companion, Twyla Russell, who he had their children together. Troy loved his children and his family. 
Troy was very friendly and outgoing. He had an attractive personality that many enjoyed being around. He always tried to help others when they needed it. He knew everyone and everyone knew him. Troy will be sadly missed. He left Kxa’khom (Earth) to be with his many Kainai (gain-uh - Many Chief) members for the next beautiful world. Until we meet again, ‘Kitatama’sin’.

A Wake service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.  The Funeral service will follow at Legacy Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.
