Clement Black Rabbit Sr, Passed away peacefully on Saturday December 4, 2021 at the Kainai Continuing Care Center. Clement was 66 years young. Clement is survived by his children: Clement Nolan Black Rabbit, Jolaine Agnes Black Rabbit, Benjamin Calf Robe, and grandchildren Kaydance Black Rabbit, Kiana Healy, Kristine Lucy, and Joseph Day Chief, Bailey Bryant Black Rabbit. Scarlett, Sharett, Dyson, Jacob and Maelle Black Rabbit. Noah, Benny, Rush, Zoey, Rylie Calf Robe. His one and only Sister Girlie Sandra Ann Black Rabbit and nephews Wesley Black Rabbit Curtis Br Marty BR Napoleon Jr BR Byron BR Bryce BR Kirk Sherman (Ruth) Yellow Fly and Nieces Bessie Lynn BR Shantelle Tallow Trudy & Tiff Yellow Fly. His great nephews Tenisyn Tate Cecil/Boss & his great Niece Rayah Agnes. His Uncle & Aunty David Stripped Wolf & Mary Louise Stripped Wolf His extended families were the Gros Ventre Boys, Plain Womans, Heavy Heads, Beebes, Little Bears, Black Plumes & then the Stevens, Wolf Childs, Two Horns, Red Guns From Siksika . At his Passing Clement was the oldest Black Rabbit around. He was predeceased by his loving wife Kristine White Man Left, daughter Tanya White Man Left, his parents George Stripped Wolf and Agnes Black Rabbit His Grandparents Peter & Lucy Black Rabbit His Brothers Napoleon & Dewayne BR His Uncles Frank (Alice) BR Ernest BR His aunties Josephine (Bonney) WolfLeg & Alice BR. His Nephew Cody BR his special Relatives Barry Ernie JR Nora BR- Franklin Kevin (string Bean) Jamie Darryl EP Brandon Bull Shields Kaia Black Water Larissa BR.
Clement loved all children his face just lights up when he sees any of the lil ones running around playing, and the way we were raised we were raised as brothers and sisters not 1st or 2nd cousins and all the sisters Agnes Alice & Josephine were all mamas to each other’s children which is why we called each other’s sisters and brothers Clement was also a big Brother to Lucille, Winnifred, Shannon, Mary Big Plume, Janice, Marvin BR and an Uncle /Dad to their children: Justin Kyle Reggie Aaron Erica Nicole Jessica Brittany Samantha Tiffany Afro Man AJ and all Their kids called him Uncle also.
Clement went to school at the St Mary’s School and graduated from there. He also attended SAIT for his Heavy-Duty Mechanics which he excelled at. Clement sports days consisted of Basket Ball Hockey Football & Rodeo. He was very athletic in his younger days. Clement worked with the Kainai Public Works Department for many years as their Heavy-Duty Mechanic he could operate all kinds of machinery in the shop, he loved his work. Clement’s passion was Football he started with playing High School Football and was drafted to the Calgary Colts. He worked at the McMahon Stadium, while he was going to school to Achieve his degree as a heavy-Duty Mechanic. In his pass time Clement Black Rabbit put Calgary Friendship Center on the Map by having Basket Ball Tournaments with all his fellow Native Brothers. Clement was also an at home Artist, Drawing Rodeo pictures was one of his favorite pass the time hobbies. He loved working with his hands which you all know were humongous, his one hand could cover my whole face which he did a lot just grabs your face outta no where I think those were his hugs, He was so well liked by everyone he met he made friends far and wide. All who attend the funeral are honorary pall bearers.
The Black Rabbit family is very sorry for any missing relatives names as all the matriarchs of the family are gone and we no longer have any one to tell us who the relatives are far and wide.

The Wake service will be held at White Calf Hall, Stand Off on Friday, December 10 from 6 - 11 pm. The Funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, December 11 at 11 am, with Father Pawel Andrasz officiating. Interment to follow at Black Rabbit Family Cemetery.
