1928 - 2019
GUY WILLIAM BOWLBY, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Blanch Colleen Low and their children; Peggy, Wendy, Charlotte (adopted), Shelly, Karen, Craig, Dianne, Scott, and Guyla. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.
As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he loved sharing the gospel with others and with his family. He served an honorable mission in Switzerland and on his return he married Blanch and have lived in the Cardston area ever since. He loved hard work and loved working hard. He spent his life farming, ranching and trucking for his Double Anchor Ranch. He was a man of strength and will. He will always be known for being a big fan of sports and Costco hot dogs.
He loved his family and will be greatly missed by them.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel in Cardston, AB on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. Interment to follow in the Taylorville Cemetery.
