LINDA KAY BURWELL, beloved wife of Howie Burwell, passed away at the age of 60 on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in her home in Cardston, Alberta. She was born August 24, 1959 to Fay and LaVonte Marsden at the Cardston hospital. She was the sixth of seven children. She graduated in 1977 from Cardston High School. She continued her education at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, transferred to BYU and then finished her Education degree at the University of Lethbridge. She taught for 36 years the majority of which at the Cardston Elementary School where she taught music, regular classes and directed the Sr. and Jr. choirs which brought home several National Championships. She held many callings in her church including a counselor in the Stake Young Women’s Presidency, Stake Young Women’s President, as well as Ward and Stake Primary President. Linda was predeceased by her mother, Fay, her father, LaVonte, her step-father, Frank, as well as her sister, Cherri, and her brothers-in-law, Bruce and Keith. Linda leaves behind her 3 sisters, DeNiese (Al), Jean (Dennis), and Louise, and her 2 brothers, Tom (Kathleen) and Lynn (Nora), her children Cam, Neal, Tiffani (Brent), Whitney, and Drew (Miranda), and step-children Chrissy, Jodi (Dan), Stephanie (Troy), Becky (Marty), Emily (Mark), Barb (Kent), and Russ (Johanna), as well as 31 grandchildren. 
Friends may meet the family on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at the Legacy Funeral Home in Cardston from 7:00 to 8:00 p m and on Friday from 1:00 to 1:45 pm prior to the service.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta West Stake Centre, (846 -1 Ave West), Cardston, AB., on Friday, November 15th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.   Interment to follow in the Leavitt Cemetery.    Condolences may be sent by CLICKING HERE.
