Our Father was a very kind, intelligent, humble man who put his heart into everything he did. He has given back to the community in many different ways from helping to fund students who wanted to continue their education goals, researched for Blood Tribe Health on data and statistics on addiction issues, to helping the establishment of Streets Alive Shelter and Ministry. Our Father was employed by Red Crow College in 2008 with Alberta Works funding as a Counselor. This program assisted students with funding for Adult Upgrading at RCCC. He also helped create the establishment of Red Crow College Satellite Campus in Lethbridge. He was also involved in the Niitsitapi Teacher Education program as a student academic counselor. This program was partnership between the U of L and Red Crow College in 2003 to 2006. As his children, we witnessed our father turn his life around for his family. We watched him fight and beat cancer, overcome alcoholism and pursue his education goals. Our dad was successful by earning his PhD in Business Skills and Management. He was a fighter in everything he did. Our father was an inspiration to us all, he always pushed us to do our best. He was our provider, our protector, our coach, our teacher, our Hero, our Superman. Our father dearly loved all of his grandchildren, he had nicknames for each of them. His grandchildren loved to hear his stories and enjoyed singing and dancing with their grandpa. Our father loved our mother in the most beautiful way. He loved her so much that he dedicated his life to her. He gave her the world, he treated her like a Queen. Everything he did was for our mother and their children. Our father constantly expressed his love to her. Their love remained strong, he never let it fade. The love we have for our father is endless. We are proud to be his children and carry on his name. We will forever miss him and will cherish every precious moment spent with him. To our loving father, you are the greatest. Your strength, drive and success in life, we will aspire to achieve. Your laugh, your sense of humor, your memory will live on through your children and grandchildren. We take comfort in knowing you will watch over us.
