Many relatives too numerous to mention Crying Heads, Gros Ventre Boy, Hairy Bulls, Day Riders, Black Plumes, Curly Riders, Morning Owls, Heavy Runners and First Chargers.
Roman was blessed to share the early part of his years with all his Grandparents. He was Grandpa Pete’s right hand man around the barn and when he came back from Grandma Mabel’s he’d have bags of new clothes. He was an old spirit; he was able to speak and understand Blackfoot and very humble, he got along with all the elders he was always willing to help out.
Roman’s Education journey began at the Levern Elementary School, Mountain View Jr High, St Francis Jr High, CCH High and Cardston High. He attended Red Crow Community College where he got to travel to Arizona. Roman was a very intelligent student which got him many academic awards throughout his education. While attending St Francis Jr High, Roman helped form a youth group at the Lethbridge Friendship Centre called Crazy Horse Society him and his cousin Kelsey designed the logo and Roman became President, they hosted a huge youth conference at the El Rancho Convention Centre and this endeavour lead him to travel to many conferences throughout Alberta.
Roman started work at a young age beginning at Ann’s Gallery shop where he sold some of his own paintings and learned how to operate and handle money. He worked at Tim Hortons and Maple Leaf where he became supervisor at both places; he was also the youngest line Foreman at Maple Leaf.
Roman moved to Manitoba to start his family in 2010 he was a devoted Father he loved his kids and would often call home to dote about them, he loved to play the guitar, riding horses, fishing, playing radio bingo and dancing. When he was younger he learned how to knit. This made him popular with the girls as he would knit scarves and toques for them. He also loved playing fastball.
Roman grew up alongside Kelsey, Logan, the late Rommel n Mario (The Five Musketeers) together they would sing pow wow, make rap lyrics and one time when Rommel got his first car he had no insurance or licence plate they found a licence plate and colored in a sticker and cruised Lethbridge all night with uncle Harvey sitting in the back seat. Another time Roman and Kelsey went on the Halloween pow wow trail and won first place at every pow wow he attended. He was very close to all his cousins including Jr Black Plume and the late Okan Hungry Wolf. As we reflect on memories of Roman he loved dressing up and  acting like TV characters, dancing and disguising his voice, he and cousin Kelsey would laugh till tears were flowing. He was always the first to give a helping hand when Grandpa and Grandma needed him– never hesitating. He was very outgoing and made many friends. He was a very proud and humble spirit. Roman was always thinking of others buying friends stuff they needed.
Roman and Shelby started their family in 2009 and moved to St Pauls AB then to Manitoba; they shared 3 children whom Roman loved dearly, he would call home and give family updates on all his children.
Roman was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents Jeffery Morning Owl and Mable (Ronald Cutter) Gros Ventre Boy, Maternal Grandparents Rachel Crying Head, Steven Day Rider and Teresa (Dominic Across the Mtn), Grandfather Pete Many Fingers and baby sister Bethany Beauregard.
