Loriann was born on August 25, 1969 at the Cardston Indian Hospital. Passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021 @ the Lethbridge Reginal Hospital, at the age of 51 years old. Patrick would like extend his gratitude for Loriann and undying love they shared for 33 years.
Loriann leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 33 years Patrick Thomas Eagle Child and their Son Shay Eagle Child, Their Grand Children Kayson and Kashlynn Twigg and Her mother Diane Twigg, her godmother Bettyann Big Throut.
Siblings - Christopher James (Leanna), Carey (Tashina), Colin (Vaness), and Tricia Twigg. Special adopted children - Chante Rae Twigg, Paisley John Twigg, Taven Carl Twigg. God children - Alexandra Twigg, Joshua Soup and Charles Lucas Eagle Speaker. Nieces and Nephews - Tara Provost, Natasha Renae (Dustin), Cherish, Haylee, Yancy, Aiyana, Sineese, Kelis, Kyrah and Charlize, Aaron (Katie), Lane, Kobe, and Kingsley. Great Nieces and Nephews – Bullvie Twigg, Tanayah Delaney, Aaliyah Medicine Crane, Treyton Eagle Speaker, Cara Twigg, Raelynn Maia Twigg, Cashus Twigg, Pheonix Twigg, Laurel, Tamia Twigg, Taizlynn Eagle Speaker and Tressa Love Twigg.

Loriann was predeceased by her Father Christopher Twigg, Her Maternal Grandparents - Horace Big Throat and Elizabeth Big Throat. Paternal Grandparents – Margret Hindbull. Maryin and George Mcdonald. Her Brother – Carl George Twigg. Her nephew – Tyler Jace Twigg. Her Great Niece - Taviyah Medicine Crane. Her great Nephew – Taylin Twigg. Her cousins – Buffy Twigg, Layton Twigg, Lorenzo Karl Big Throat, Charly Big Throat, Russell Big Throat and Tania Big Throat. Her Uncles – Melvin and Tiny Big Throat, Riel Hindbull, Jack Hindbull, Katherin Ryder, Sherlie Hindbull and her auntie Katherine.
Loriann attended Elementary In Cardston Alberta, she then attended St, Mary’s Residential School On the Blood Reserve. She later met the love of her life, Patrick whom she loved so much in 1988. They had their son Shay on May 7, 1989. Loriann and Patrick got Married on May 25, 1994. She then had her first Grandson Kayson Carl Twigg and her Granddaughter Kashlynn Twigg.
Her life revolved around her Husband and Son. They enjoyed taking trips, going to The Zoo, and going to Edmonton for Shay’s Hockey Provincials. Renting rooms at the west Edmonton mall and taking Shay swimming at the wave pool. She loved her son soo much, her most highlighted trip with her family was to Toronto to visit other Family members.
Loriann was often referred to as the “rock” of the family. When someone needed advice, they would go to her and she would always have the right words to say. She was very supportive and always reminded you that she was there for you, she never wanted anyone to feel like they were alone. She was very over protective of her family. She was the Mama bear. When one family member hurts, she hurts. She was very mothering to all. She was a devoted Catholic and held faith strong in her life. Everyone that knew her, knew how heart warming she was. Welcoming everyone with open arms. She was a very humble, respectable and lovable woman. She cherished each and every one of her family members. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was very stylish and was known for her super cool hair styles and colors. she loved to sketch and paint which she always displayed in her home. She enjoyed reading books and magazines. She was very meticulous about her home, always had to have it spotless. Decorating is what she also loved to do, her houses always smelt the best and Her home was always so cozy. The type of home where her door was open to anyone of need, you could just relax and not want to leave. She loved listening to music with the volume high up. she loved to dance around and be silly with her grandkids. She was always laughing and making jokes.
Holidays were spent at home with her family, cooking big meals as she loved to cook. She loved decorating her Christmas tree, it was always different each year. although they had a busy life taking care of their grandchildren, they never forgot date nights where she would put on her best outfit, 33 years together and she still dressed as if it were their first date.
The family is very sorry for any names and information not mentioned above. Loriann had a very big family, and she loved each and every one of you and held everybody close to her heart.
A Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Wednesday, May 26 from 9:00 - 11:00 am with a Family Service to follow at 11:00 am. (Due to COVID - Only a limited number of people will be allowed into the service) Interment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
