Alexis, Melissa and Lori were so close growing up, where one is the other two were in tow, you would always know they were up to no good when they were quiet. Her mother met and stayed with Darryl Shouting when Alexis was around 7 months old. Darryl took Alexis as his own and helped raise Alexis. She will be loved from the Shouting family as they spoiled her like her own. Alexis as a young girl she was the quiet type. She liked to help out with doing chores around the house and going out to be with freinds and relatives or just visiting. On May 30, 1996, Alexis was baptized and was blessed to have Herman and Cheryl Scout as her God parents and they loved her so much. Alexis attended Levern Elementary School, Raymond Elementary School, and Middle School up until grade 8. She enjoyed all activities and joined the basketball team. Alexis was nice, humble, and gained a lot of friends through her kindness. In her younger years she spent a lot of time with her cousin Reno Shouting and you would often see her and Reno playing at Grandma Julia and Grandpa Ambrose’s house or down the hill in the coulees. When Alexis got older, she enjoyed her time with her close cousins where they would dress up, sing, and do air bands to their favorite band which back then was Back Street Boys and Spice Girls. They would be calling each other by the band’s names.
Alexis was proud when she had her first born Rasheda, she loved her deeply and was extremely happy when she had her other children. She loved her children and tried her best to protect them. It was other obstacles she would overcome and turned her ways. She loved her babies so much, but she couldn’t do it on her own. Thanks to Jana Day Chief and Danielle Eagle Plume for stepping in to help her with her children. When Alexis lost her mom, she tried her best for herself and her children and went for treatment, at one point she was feeling so good about herself, but missing her mother so much she fell into a depression and didn’t want to come home.
