It is with great heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Kenny “Jagger” Maguire (Miaanistsinsskii) Eagle Plume, of the Blood Reserve who passed away suddenly at the age of 28 years, on August 8, 2022. Jagger was born in Magrath on March 5, 1994. He is survived by his parents: Louise Eagle Plume (grandmother) and parents Kenny (Sharon) Eagle Plume and Biological Mother, Cheryl Hairy Bull. He is survived by his sisters Shantelle (Julian) Eagle Plume, Charmaine (Neill) Fox. Brother Ramsey Conway of Browning Montana. He loved his nieces Rhythm and Calla. Nephews Noah and Cypress. His paternal grandpa Gary Vielle and his friend Channel Good Rider.
His extended families included: Red Crow, Crop Eared Wolf, Eagle Plume, Shot Both Sides, Hairy Bull, Black Plume, Shouting, Striped Wolf and Many Grey Horses. Jagger has numerous uncles, aunties and cousins too numerous mentions.
He was predeceased by grandparents: Jim (Catherine) Red Crow Jr., Bertha Black Face (Homer Young Pine) and brother Riley Black Rabbit.
He attended Head start in Browning; Montana then moved back to Canada to finish his education. Then Graduated from Cardston High School in 2013.
Jagger was raised by his parents and uncles, aunties, and grandma’s. They taught him to be humble, to work hard, and complete his education. He began working at the age of 13 yrs. old starting at Dairy Queen in Cardston: After Dairy Queen, Jagger worked for Jeff Bevans Landscaping and Fencing, Kilomary Lodge Hotel, Waterton Lake Resort, Delray Roofing Construction and McDonalds (becoming a supervisor) in Lethbridge.
He obtained his safety and construction tickets which helped him gained valuable construction skills. Jagger was a hard worker and was currently employed with Parker Johnson Construction in Calgary. He excelled on being one of the main production workers. The daily average of installing panels was 15 – 19, Jagger and his mentor Mr. Kaul installed 64 in one day. Every time a new high-rise building was built in Calgary and surrounding area, Jagger help construct the high-rise buildings.
He played hockey for Cardston Thunder A team. Brockett asked him to play for them and went to Provincials and Treaty 7 Tournaments every year. His grandpa, Homer Young Pine supported Jagger and excelled at all sports, work and education.
He joined his “Eagle Plume” Family Softball Team the “EP Jay’s”. He was proud to be on the family team. Jagger enjoyed jogging and hiking through Bowness and Nose Hill Park. Jagger loved camping, fishing and ice skating. Jagger loved to cook and took pride in making supper for Chanelle. He loved rodeo and participated in sheep and steer riding. At age 13, he started playing fastball and slow pitch. His passion was making music and opening for various hip-hop artists. His uncle Gilbert inspired him to bring out his feelings through music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cousins, and friends.
Jagger was well known for smiling, joking around and making friends wherever he went.

A Candlelight Vigil was held on Monday, August 15 at 6:30 pm in Calgary at 707 - 57 Ave SW. The Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17 at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Thursday, August 18 at 11:00 am.
