Ron spent most of his 71 years of life living in Cardston AB. He became well known
and well liked in the community working in various jobs in town. He loved talking to
people in the community and helping anyone in need. With his gentle nature and quiet
demeanour he was a perfect fit for those with special needs and worked many years
with the Handicapped Association.
Ron loved to be outdoors and spent many weekends camping at Koocanusa Lake,
canoeing and fishing on Police Lake, and teaching the grandkids how to whittle a stick!
He was a collector of many things especially antiques and any trinket that would catch
his eye. There has been many trades made under his roof!
More than anything else Ron loved his family. He loved his wife and was always quick
to make sure she was taken care of. He is fiercely proud of his sons and grandkids and
would brag to anyone who would listen about how great they all are. He is a piece of
our Family that can never be replaced and will forever be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home on Thursday, August 26,
2021 at 11:00am.
