Melton was a gently person. He was good company and his life was full. He graduated from Cardston High School and attended P.I.C.’s in Calgary later on. He began his Fancy Dance career in his 20’s and became a Champion while he was dancing.
He was well known for his skill in the arts and crafts. His paintings and drawings were recognized by the U. of L. Art Department. His other favorite past time was baseball. He played with the original “City Chiefs” with his loving wife and family. Melton’s biggest passion was singing and playing guitar with his brother Clifford. He was known to sound like his idol Dwight Yoakam. He played gospel music and was called upon to sing at funerals and other events. He would often sing at home to his kids.
He often played cards with his daughter Sarah and son Travis. He would often sit with his sister Betty and Clifford and they would talk, laugh and sing for hours. (Sometimes fighting over You Tube). All Great Memories!!
He made many friends throughout his life, always quiet and gentle, and never negative to people.
A Thank You to the Lethbridge Regional I.C.U. Staff and Dr. Wong
