AUSTIN JAMES FORSYTH was born October 12, 1989 to Jillian Across The Mountain and Arnold Healy. When AJ was 5 months old he was placed in the loving arms of Karyn Forsyth. AJ was a smiley baby and was adored instantly by his older siblings. Everyone was Incredibly happy the day that Tim & Karyn legally adopted him and he was made a part of their forever family. AJ grew into an adorable toddler and little boy that was doted on not only by his mom and dad but also his siblings especially Shawn and Kati. He loved to watch rodeo on TV and Scott was his best buddy when he would play bucking bull or bullfight with him. He loved to go out to the barn with his dad and watch the baby pigs he would excitedly call out “Dad here comes another one!” as another piglet was born. His love for the piglets continued all his growing up years; he would let them climb all over him and cuddle them. As a kid AJ went to every High School football game with his friends, dreaming of Friday night lights, and when High School came it was just as good as they thought it would be. Hitting AJ was like running into a steel beam. He lived for football, went ALL out and was seen as an inspiration on the field. AJ had this contagious smile, was quick with one liners and could always make you laugh . He was the life of the party and it was easy to be his friend. He was the kind of person that could walk into a room and come out with a best friend. Everyone felt welcome in his presence. He genuinely loved everyone and never wanted anybody to feel left out. He stood up for the underdog. If you were his friend he had your back no matter what! AJ wasn’t one to pick a fight although he would also never walk away from one. It has been said he had a wicked punch, one that you would never want to be on the end of. AJ was quick and light on his feet which helped him not only on the football field but also in his breakdancing skills AJ became an awesome break dancer and enjoyed competing in dance competitions. AJ loved babies and little kids but especially his nieces & nephews. He adored them and they loved him back. When AJ became a father his girls were the apple of his eye . His kids were his side kicks. Where he went, they went. You would never catch him playing video games, watching tv, going for a drive or doing anything without his daughters by his side. In his adult life AJ loved to hunt and fish, he loved his animals and he was a hard worker. Throughout adulthood, AJ made some choices that took him in a direction not true to his tender hearted nature. He always tried to be better and he voiced he was sorry for who he had become and he wanted to be better. His heart was pure but his addictions were stronger. AJ adored his girls and wanted to protect them, he loved them enough to not bring that into their life anymore.
In the last couple years of his life AJ reunited with his biological father. He was happy to be able to begin building their relationship. He had a strong love for family, both those he had known and loved his whole life, and the new family he was getting to know. AJ’s life was tragically cut short on June 1, 2020 in Lethbridge Alberta. He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his 3 beautiful daughters Tyelynn , River, and Harlee, his dad Tim (Sherri) Forsyth; brothers, Shawn (Melissa) Forsyth, Jason (Kasey) Forsyth; sisters, Kati (Paul) Firth, Tina Houseman, Laura (Kurtis) Michel, Jolene Black (Brandon Nelson), Bailey (Cache) Olson; Grandmother Geraldine Court; sister-in-law Shanna (Scott) Forsyth, and his biological father Arnold Healy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
