RHEA FORSYTH, passed away in Cardston on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 at the age of 95 years. She was the daughter of John James and Jennie Heap Forsyth and spent her early years on the Forsyth ranch south of Cardston. When her aging parents were no longer able to care for her needs, she moved to the Raymond Home where many people contributed to her happiness. In 2002 she moved to the Cardston Auxiliary Hospital where she was closer to family and where she also found loving caregivers. In 2011, she moved to the Cardston Lee Crest and soon found that many of her loving caregivers had moved there to work. Rhea had a delightful sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and the most beautiful brown eyes—to compliment her red hair.
She was predeceased by her parents: John (1972) and Jennie (1982), and by siblings: Donald (1963), D.R. (1997), Ava (2000), Belle (2010), Charles (2016), Woodrow (2010), LaVar (1974), infant Thomas Lorenzo (1925), and by all her in-laws, except for Thea Forsyth of Spokane area. Rhea is survived by her loving sisters: Marr Draper and Donna Purnell, both of Cardston. Rhea is loved by many and will be sorely missed.
