
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Terence Mario Good Dagger, Oohkotok, in Cardston, AB on October 24, 2023 at the age of 46 years. Terence is survived by Winifred Black Rabbit, his children, Clayton, Tazz, Trey, Zaya and Mario Good Dagger; his step daughters Nicole and Erica Black Rabbit, and his father Dale Rabbit; brother Leon Good Dagger; and sisters, Felicia (Scotty) and Gail (Joe) Good Dagger; uncles John (Diane), Nick Rabbit and Mike Good Dagger; aunties Beverly (Douglas) Rabbit, Joan (Clayton) Many Guns and Joyce (Gary) Bird, Elizabeth Vielle; uncle Alex Mills; great Auntie Teresa Vielle. Terence was born in Fort Macleod, AB. He attended school at Stand Off Elementary school, F.P. Walshe in Fort Macleod and Kainai High School. Terence lived on the Blood Reserve most of his life; he also resided in Lethbridge. Then he made his way home back to lower Stand Off where he grew up as a child. Terence liked to work on vehicles and do carpentry work. Also, he worked for the Lethbridge hides plant, Blood Tribe Forage Plant and went on some fire fighting crews to help fight the many fires in Alberta. Terence enjoyed being in the outdoors. His biggest hobbies were hunting and fishing and just enjoying a good walk in the woods checking out the views, also he enjoyed playing hockey outdoors. Terence was predeceased by his mother Margaret Rabbit; his infant son Conan Good Dagger; uncles Radford, Wilford Jr, Walter, Gifford, and Carl Good Rider, Calvin Buckskin; grandparents, Wilford Good Rider and Helen Good Dagger, Bernard Rabbit and Minnie King and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
The Wake Service for Terence will be held on Thursday, November 2 at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Senator Gladstone Hall on Friday, November 3 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
