ROBERT DEAN GRAHAM (BOB), passed away on September 4, 2019 in College Station, Texas. He was born February 20, 1936 in Raymond, the only son of Robert Thomas Graham and Charlotte Annie Evans. In his early years, Bob graduated from Olds Agricultural College, worked in the oil fields, and accepted a mission call from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve in Eastern Canada. He married Ruth Elizabeth Gehmlich in 1958 and they have nine children, 39 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
During the early years of their marriage, they lived on the Graham homestead where they ran a dairy and raised cattle and brood sows. In 1968 they sold the farm and moved into Raymond. Bob worked in the farm machinery business and later opened his own Allis-Chalmers dealerships, winning many awards for exceptional sales and service. He also attended auctioneering school and became a licensed auctioneer.
While in Raymond, Bob served as a town councilman and as Mayor. He also started and ran many successful businesses (feed lot, farms, fiberglass plant, shopping center, laundromat, and an auto body shop). In 1984, the family moved to the Orlando, FL area, where Bob worked in real estate. While in Orlando, he served as a Bishop in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family then moved to Ocala, Florida where Bob became the national sales manager of an engineered lumber manufacturing facility. After a three-year stop in Atlanta, GA where he worked for Georgia-Pacific, Bob accepted a position as CEO of a fire-fighting product company in Navasota, TX. The family relocated to College Station, TX in 1991. Bob had a deep passion for and was one of the world’s experts in the field of human radionics. Everywhere Bob lived, he served others and gave of his time and resources.
Bob is survived by Ruth Elizabeth Gehmlich, his loving wife of sixty years (College Station, TX), 8 children -Richard (Tracy) Kennesaw, GA; Randy (Jana) Silver Springs, FL; Daren (Amber) College Station, TX; Kevin (Lydia) Lady Lake, FL; Michelle (Todd Bagley) Cedar Hills, UT; Lisa (Darrell Brantley) Belleview, FL; Todd (Jamie) College Station, TX; Timothy (Kimberly) Woodbury, MN; 39 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren and by his sisters Ruth Heggie, Florence Adams, Charlene Salmon, Wyona Wolfley, and Larraine Miller.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Wendy May, his parents, Robert and Charlotte and four of his nine sisters - Lynne, Lavonne, Nona, and Marguerite.
A Memorial Service will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Knight Street Chapel in Raymond on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to the Service. Interment to follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery.
