RUTH ANNA GWENDOLYN GREGSON (née Saunders) passed away peacefully on October 12, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born in Owen Sound, Ontario to Alan and Isabella Saunders on February 24, 1930. She moved to Vancouver in 1952 where she met the love of her life, Tom Gregson. They were married September 14, 1956 and just recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Ruth was a loving wife and mother. She and Tom began raising their family in B.C. before making their home in Cardston in 1979.
They have a large and loving posterity which includes nine children: Kib Gregson, Rebecca (Rod) Still, Kyle (Wendy) Gregson, Mark (Doreen) Gregson, Erik (Kay) Gregson, Roxanne (Doug) Armstrong, Mike (Dawnette) Gregson, Sarah (Shane) Roberts and Seth (Julie) Gregson; 44 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Ruth was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1957 and has served faithfully in many callings throughout the years. She and Tom completed a full time mission to the Philippines in 2001 and also served as ordinance workers in the Cardston Temple for many years.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.

The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston on Monday, October 17th, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
