He was compassionate and respectful. He had a great sense of humor and always joked around with people. Blaine had a smile that can light up any room and his laughter was contagious. Blaine was a proud father to his beautiful baby girl Cianna Raine G.V.B. He loved his little girl so much and she was his whole world. Cianna was a light in Blaine’s life whom he cherished and loved. He developed a close relationship with his mother in law, April Davis and would often keep in touch with her. April showed love and support to Blaine and would often encourage him. Blaine had unconditional love for his mother and would often spend time in Browning, Montana visiting her and Roland. His mom called him baby Blaine his whole life. Blaine developed a close bond with Roland and they would often watch NBA games together and go for drives. Blaine was a proud uncle to his niece and nephew Urijah and Jaelyn. He would help his sister with her children whether it be babysitting or just helping around the house. He had a close bond with his nephew Urijah. When his dad Gabriel was still alive, it was always Gabriel, Blaine, and Urijah. They had an unbreakable bond and after the passing of Gabriel, Blaine drew an even closer bond with Urijah. When Jaelyn arrived, Blaine promised his sister that he would always be there for her. Blaine made sure that Jaelyn and Urijah knew the extreme love only an uncle can give. Blaine and Christy were the only children and had a very close bond. Christy being the older sister was naturally like his second mom. They shared many great memories and were always there for each other through every hard time. They always promised each other that they would never leave each other’s side and that promise was kept right till the end. Christy promised Blaine that her first born child would be named Laine in honor of her only sibling. Christy named her first born Urijah Laine. Blaine was so proud to have his first nephew named after him. Blaine loved his family and he had a very close relationship with his uncles Wesley and Randolph. They were his father figures after the passing of his father. They were the ones he would listen to and he always worried about his uncles and made sure they were okay. He would often confide with Christy how he worried about them and made sure they were okay because he needed them. He was close to all his cousins and called them brothers. He loved Basketball, whether it was playing on the court or playing NBA games on his play station. He loved everything that involved basketball. He had many favourite teams and players. His favourite players were Kyrie Irving, Rajon Rondo, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. Blaine, Urijah, and Christy all shared the love of basketball and their favourite team the Lakers. A month before Blaine passed away he took Urijah to the mall and purchased each of them Lakers jerseys and sweaters. Blaine played basketball with Tatsikiisaapo’p middle school and Kainai High School. Blaine loved a challenge and was competitive but he always took the time to teach people the game of basketball. He also loved skateboarding and in his teenage years his dad Gabriel built him a half pipe in their backyard. Blaine would skate all day from sunrise to sunset. Blaine encouraged and helped many of his young cousins, family, and friends to enhance their skills on the board and today is still remembered as one of the best teachers and skateboarders. Blaine will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His loved ones will cherish and honor his memories. Our greatest comfort knows that when he walked through those pearly gates he was greeted by his father and personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Heaven rejoiced the day Blaine accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and he now rests in the arms of Jesus. He fought a good fight, he finished the course, and he kept the faith.
