Husky or (Abuu) was raised by our Grandma Cecilia along with all his cousins who also became all his brothers and sisters. After the passing of our Grandmother, Joyce took over the “mom” role, Husky was raised in Moses Lake and attended Cardston school, he was a very talented, athletic young man. He enjoyed playing all kinds of sports such as floor hockey, baseball, and basketball. Fastball is a part of our family and Husky enjoyed that the most. He qualified and attended the North American Indigenous Games in Victoria, BC in 1996 with Team Alberta Blood Tribe. Husky was kind and considerate to everyone around him. He also had such a crazy sense of humour and helped whoever needed it. Abuu was a nick name his mom called him not many people knew that about him, he was a very lovable likeable person. Because his ability to be a very humble person he caught the eye of his wife Stubby; they were inseparable for 12 years. Husky was loved by all who knew him, and will be missed by all, including the staff from the Moses Lake shelter.
