ADELINE (GINGER) LAW HANSEN, born April 24, 1927  passed away peacefully  in Cardston Hospital  Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at the age of 93, nineteen years less eleven days after her husband, Wilbur Bryan (Bill) Hansen.
They are the parents of nine children :  Valloy (Douglas) Hamilton,  Richard Bryan (Valerie Wilde) Hansen,  Gailynn (Gary) Payne,  Jeanine (Bruce) Hurdman,  Benjamin Lewis (Linda Bowmer) Hansen,  Saradel (Bruce) Ririe,  Joseph Franklin (Bonnie Price) Hansen,  Marcella (Todd ) Andrus,  and David Law Hansen;  with 41 grandchildren,  90 great grandchildren and  6 great-great grandchildren at the present time.
Her family was the most important aspect of her life.  As a full time homemaker, devoting her time and talents to rearing them, she took pride in the achievements of her large family.  She also took on the task of being the main provider when Bill was recovering from a construction site accident that put him in a wheel chair and then on crutches with physio- therapy to be able to walk again -while supporting a son on a mission, which was a huge challenge to her reticent nature.
She also loved serving as a Primary worker and Primary President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many of the places the family resided.
They seemed to alternate every 15 or 16 years between living in Canada or the US, but finally returned ‘Home’ to Glenwood where Bill set to work building Adeline her dream retirement home, across the street from where Bill first asked her to go the dance in Hartley with him while she and her little sister were walking home from school. The rest is history.
She is also survived by her sister,  Kathryn Miyashita and 3 of 8 brothers Clinton, Sheldon and Bryce Law.
Thank you from her family to those who cared for Mother at the Lee Crest Seniors Home where she has resided the past 3 years. Also, the nurses and doctors who attended her while she was in hospital, especially Dr. Justin Low who was a welcome sight every Monday when he made house calls.

Virtual funeral services will be held from the Legacy Funeral Home in Cardston,  Alberta on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 11:00 am MDT.
Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Alberta, Canada.
