It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, auntie, niece, and friend,
​ Lindsay Mae “Mugz” Heavy Runner. She was born on March 26, 1977 at Cardston, AB. She passed away suddenly on December 9, 2022 in Lethbridge, AB. She leaves behind her father Eddie Spotted Bull, her mother predeceased (Veronica Heavy Runner), Thomas an infant son, her children, Austin, Nick, Telsa, Chelsea, Chanda, Christie, Tawny; her sister Jennifer (Phillip), her aunties, Gwen (Wesley), Colleen (Barry), Christine; one brother Roland (Rena); nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is predeceased by her grandparents Chester Heavy Runner, Mary Prairie Chicken, and Mr. & Mrs. Spotted Bull, numerous aunties and uncles and cousins. Lindsay received her education at Cardston High School. Lindsay was a kind loving person with a big heart. We are all going to miss “Mugz”.  “Lift up your hearts and share with me.  God wants me now, He set me free.”  Lindsay had numerous friends too many to mention.  

A Wake Service will be held at the Tanner Center, Cardston on Friday, January 6 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 am.   Interment to follow at Blood Band Cemetery, Blood Reserve, AB.
