CHRISTOPHER JAMES “CJ” HIND BULL, born on June 6th 1988, passed away in Lethbridge on August 25th, 2017 at the age of 29 years. CJ is the loving father of two daughters, Keira Rose and Makayla Hind Bull and the youngest son of Wanda and the late Morris Real Hind Bull Jr. He the was special companion of Phelony No Chief. CJ was born and raised in Lethbridge where he attended his formative schooling at Nicholas Sheran, Hamilton Jr. High and LCI. He completed his 1st year welding and worked in construction. He was a part of the crew that built the Cross Iron Mills Mall in Calgary. CJ loved to play his guitar and was a talented musician. CJ had a kind and respectful heart and was always looking out for others. He touched many hearts. CJ was very selfless and would go out of his way to help everyone. His friends fondly referred to him as “Cowboy” and he will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his daughters, Keira Rose and Makayla and his mother, Wanda Hind Bull, CJ is also survived by his siblings: Raynard (Brenda) Brave Rock, Dennis (Buck) Brave Rock, Eugene (Jolene) Brave Rock, Krystle (Larrone) Brave Rock, Shalayne (Mike) Tull, Cora-Lee Hind Bull, and Kyle (Stephanie) Across the Mountain; his uncles Dennis, Faron, Mark and Gary Brave Rock, Dewey (Cindy) Hind Bull and his aunts: Christine (Wayne) Davis, Margaret Rose (Marvin) Bevans, Verdun (Pat) Morning Owl, Shirley Hind Bull, Mary Ann (Harvie) Crow-Healy, and Sharon Chief Calf.
CJ was predeceased by his father, Morris Real Hind Bull Jr. 2015, his father’s brothers: Jack Hind Bull 2015, Anthony Hind Bull 1951, Eugene Hind Bull 1966 and Christopher Twigg 1977. Grandparents: Morris Hind Bull Sr. 1977 and Margaret (Twigg) Hind Bull 1992. Great Grandparents, patriarchal: Chief Jack and Amy (Healy) Hind Bull, Note: Chief Jack Hind Bull’s Biological Father was Chief One Spot. Matriarchal: James and Lucy Rosa (Cotton) Twigg. Also predeseased from Hind Bull side, first cousins: Charles Wayne Davis Jr. 2017, Christian Hind Bull 1974, Kasikee Isaac 1998 and Carl Twigg 2011.
On his Maternal side, CJ was predeceased by his grandparents, Wilfred and Florence Brave Rock; His Great Grandparents: Ernest and Maggie (Little Skunk) Brave Rock; James and Molly (Long Time Squirrel) Wells. His uncles: Gino Brave Rock, Ernest James (in infancy), John Heavy Runner; Aunty: Galena Ann Brave Rock. Also predeceased from Brave Rock side, his first counsins: Galena “Sissy” (Big Head) Brave Rock, Tanis Brave Rock, Levi Brave Rock, Dale Marvin Brave Rock, Devon Blood, Marshelle Vielle and Stanley Ryan Tyson Brave Rock.
