NATASHA JO JACKSON-BULL SHIELDS, “Piitaipo’taakii”, beloved fiancé of Ferenc Valko, passed away at home in Vancouver, B.C. on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the age of 36 years old. Natasha was born on February 14, 1984 in Browning, Montana to the late Wilbert (Bum) Jackson and Malinda Bull Shields. She is survived by her sons, Dante Bull Shields and Kiaro Valko-Bull Shields. Her siblings: Shawn (Liz), Michael (Carrie-Ann), Siouxsan (Charles), Dayna, Lydia, and Luke. Also mourning her passing, Grandmas: Louise Brave Rock and Grace Aimsback; Uncles: Jeffery (Vicki), Charles (Bea), Newton (Lena), Clint Medicine Crane (Josie), Eagle Boy Kipp, James “Bimbo” Davis, Gilbert “John” Jackson, Victor Jackson, Virgil Brave Rock; Aunties: Diane Plume, Pauline White Grass (also her god-mother), Muriel Bull Shields, Mary-Jo Razo, Lorraine Stasso, Mayola Jackson, Beverly Jackson-Chun, Joanne Jackson, Mary Jackson, Filma DeRouche, Melvina Brave Rock, Betty Ann Whitford, and Kathy Jackson; and long time friend, Jenny Shantz, and numerous adopted siblings. Natasha was predeceased by her grandparents: Charlie and Irene Bull Shields, Joseph Jackson & Genevieve “Dolly” Redfox; Her sister Shannon; Nephews: Nashoba and Atobbi; Niece: Morning Star; Aunties: Beatrice Bull Shields, Lillian Bull Shields, Mona Jackson, and Mary Jackson; Uncles: Kobin Bull Shields, Leonard Bull Shields, Bob Brave Rock, Marvin Brave Rock; great Uncles: Frank Wolf Plume, Roger Bull Shields, Thomas Bull Shields, Herbert Bull Shields, George and Francis Small Eyes, Snuffy, Melvin Rutherford (Sure Chief); great Aunt: Mary Jackson-Bird (Hubs); great Grandparents: Chris Bull Shields and Rosie Wolf Plume (Small Eyes), George Prairie Chicken and Calling Out of Water, Louie Jackson and Annie Jackson; great-great Grandfather: Double Blaze-Jackson. Her extended family include: Prairie Chickens, Medicine Crane, Wolf Plume, Russell, Small Eyes, Crazy Boy, New Breast, Jeffersons, Carpenters, Eagle Child, Brave Rock, Bird Rattler, Calf Robe, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Natasha’s zeal for LIFE was evident in the joy and laughter she shared with all who knew her. Natasha had a way of bringing out the best in others and was known for her OMG Frybread food truck, as well as her constructon company Naatosi. While she will be terribly missed by those of us left on earth, we know that our separation is only brief, as we grieve with the hope and expectation of being reunited in Heaven.
A Wake Service will be held at the Tanner Senior’s Center (260 1 St W, Cardston) on Tuesday, October 20th from 6:00 - 11:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Tanner Senior’s Center (260 1 St W, Cardston) on Wednesday, October 21st at 11:00 am. Interment in the St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
