MILDRED L (LOW) JENSEN went peacefully to her heavenly home on Feb 5, 2022 at the age of 97.
Mildred was born in Cardston on Oct 2, 1924 to Brigham and Antris (Gedlaman) Low.
She is survived by her daughter Jeannine L Eyre. Her grandchildren Reg (Marilyn) Eyre, Rhonda ( Kevin) Worrall, Miles (Christine) Eyre, Billy Joe (Leah-Ted) Jensen, Jeff Jensen, and Leah (Zach) Gray.
Her great grandchildren Shane (Christina) Eyre, Cianna (Scott) Boyd, Jazlynn Eyre, Linsey Eyre, Jaylee Jensen, Charley Jensen, Jaxson Jensen, Olyn Jensen, and Jensen Gray, and Brooks Gray. One great great grandchild Chloe Eyre.
Mildred is also survived by brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, their families and by many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ray Jensen, son Lynn Jensen, son-in-law Ronald Eyre, her parents and all her siblings.
Mildred had fond childhood memories of farm life, alongside Lee's Creek, and it's swimming hole. Mildred married in 1942, raised kids and worked/farmed in the Del Bonita and Cardston area. After moving into Cardston, Mildred worked for the Town of Cardston providing 25 years of dedicated service before retiring.
Mildred was able to serve The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a mission to Tennessee and years of temple work.
Mildred was devoted to her family, friends and strangers alike; she was always “doing
for others”. When she moved into Lethbridge making the Alberta Rose Lodge her home and extending her family of friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston, AB with interment will follow at the Cardston Cemetery.
