CLARA ELSA LIVINGSTONE, passed away at Prairie Ridge in Raymond, AB on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her children: Larry (LaVerle), Theron (Betty), Karen (Kenneth) Pirie; 14 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two infant sons,Gary Donald and Wesley Ernest; an infant grandson Kyle Livingstone; and George, her beloved husband of 65 years.
She was a dedicated worker in the United Church, singing in the choir, organizing events and volunteering in any capacity in the community that required her assistance. Music, laughter, and a bountiful table were part of her. She treated everyone equally and all were welcome at her table and there was always a special invitation for those who played bridge.
The family would like to extend a special message of gratitude to everyone at Prairie Ridge for the kindness, care, and honor they all showed our mother.
The Funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, SOUTH HILL CHAPEL, Cardston on Saturday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Eva Stanley officiating.
Friends may meet the family from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow in the Cardston Cemetery.
