JANET EDITH LONGBOTHAM, was born 28 December 1948 in Calgary, Alberta and passed away October 30, 2021 in Cardston, Alberta at the age of 72 years.
She is survived by one sister, Mary McLean (Lethbridge, Alberta); four brothers, Samuel G, Ronald E, Tim (Timothy), Bill (William) all of Calgary. She is survived by a Clan of Nieces and Nephews; great & great great Nieces and Nephews mostly in Alberta. She is predeceased by her Father, Samuel Longbotham (1974); Mother, Ida Spencer (1994); Sister, Ida Ann Taylor (2011).
Janet graduated from High School in Calgary and received College and University training in Idaho and Utah. Janet was a Geophysical Tecnologist and worked 5 years for Imperial Oil and 25 years for Shell Canada, retiring in May 2006. She served 7 Missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In Lieu of Flowers, take someone special to you to Dinner and say: “I Love You.” Or Contribute to the Food Bank. Due to Covid-19, Limit of 50 people.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, November 5th @11:00 a.m., with Bishop Jeff Johnson officiating.
