It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of SHEILA MAY MACKAY (nee Carson) on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the age of 86 at the Good Samaritan Lee Crest Seniors’ Residence in Cardston, Alberta. She is now safely enfolded in the loving arms of her Saviour.
Sheila leaves to cherish her memory four devoted daughters: Trudy (Neil), Charmaine (Gabriel), Sheryl (David), and Rhonda (Dean), siblings: Greg, Melvin, Mona, Dwight, JoAnn, and Patricia, grandchildren: Lana, Sonya, Jessica, Chelsea, Courtney, Kelly, Tes, and Layne, great grandchildren: Layne Jr., Hunter, and Cala, as well as numerous other family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Ron, parents Stanley and Gladys, stepmother Queenie, and sister Verna.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, South Hill Chapel, located at 950 Main Street, Cardston, Alberta. Interment to follow at the Cardston Cemetery, Cardston, Alberta.
