"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

During her time in Nanaimo BC, Joan was involved with the NDP, Nanaimo City Cloggers, Square Dancing Club and the Legion. While she was raising her children, she was an Avon, Mary Kay and Fashion 220 consultant. She also worked as a nanny and cleaned homes and office buildings on the weekends.
When Joan retired she moved to Cardston, Alberta. She loved the Town of Cardston and made many friends. She was a valued member of the United Church Choir and the Legion. Her hobbies included card making, knitting and nature walks.
Joan is survived by her two brothers, Richard and Robert Sullivan and her six children: Teresa Polson, Neil Lewis, Terisa Bilton, Annette Bright, Robert King, Lori King and several grandchildren/great grandchildren whom she adored. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. We love you mom!
