CHARLES CAMERON McDONALD graduated from this life at Lee Crest in Cardston on July 19th, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Sherri McDonald, his devoted wife, would like to thank the several Cardston people who have given her rides back and forth to see him during the 6 ½ years that he was there.
Cam was born in Rainy River, Ontario on January 10th, 1934. He served in the military when he was young. Together, with his first wife Jean (deceased), they raised two daughters and three stepsons.
In 1993, he married Sherri Myers in the Seattle Temple. They moved to Cardston in 1997 and ran a Bed and Breakfast service for many years. They were a familiar sight as they walked many miles around town with the Chinook County Pacers, a Volkssport Walking Club. They started the “Home Safe Animal Rescue” organization to care for homeless animals here in Cardston, which Sherri continues to take care of.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel in Cardston on Friday, July 26th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. Condolences may be sent by CLICKING HERE.
