Thomas was well known in the Stand-off community as T-Mac. In his childhood years, T-Mac attended Saipoyi Elementary school. He later went on to attend Tatsiikiisapo’p Middle School and Kainai High School where he was apart of the TMS Eagles and the Warriors basketball teams. There is no doubt that his passion for basketball came from the inspiration of his late father Alvin. During his childhood, his father Alvin would round up all the kids in the community to play different sports including basketball and baseball. T-Mac looked up to his father. T-Mac and his siblings would always talk about how Alvin was the greatest coach. T-Mac was fortunate enough to come from such a large loving family. After school sports, he would go home and there he would be seen playing basketball with his family and friends at the basketball courts. His uncle Tim purchased a basketball net for all the boys, and you were sure to see them all outside his house playing the game he loved so dearly. T-Mac and the rest of the boys were always spoiled with snacks from his mom Tina and his auntie Roxanne. T-Mac was a very caring person. He was always someone you could rely on. T-Mac and JB always made sure that all their sisters were taken care of. They would be sure to stand up for them in any situation. Most recently, he always enjoyed going to pick mint and sage and would go to the Sundance to sell them. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would always offer to help people clean up their yards. T-Mac was a momma’s boy, you could always find him next to Tina. He would be in the kitchen helping her cook and clean while James was outside helping Alvin fix cars. T-Mac had a very special bond with all his nieces and nephews. He was a very shy, caring, and loving person. T-Mac you will be missed dearly.
