Our Creator has called Stacy Kelly Morning Bird home on December 2, 2022 in Vancouver B.C. At the age of 50 years.
Our sister, mother, grandmother, auntie and niece was born September 15, 1972 to Yvonne Morning Bird and Alphonse Red Crow. Stacy leaves behind her beloved daughter Kadeena Morningbird and grandson Aiden Morningbird (her pride and joy), her father Alphonse, sisters Janice Morning Bird, Heather Wolf Child, Constance Red Crow, Appie Morning Bird; step sisters Autumn and Summer Red Crow; step brother Todd Bruised Head; nieces Megan, Taylor, Shaleese, Sheanna, Ciara and Hayley; nephews Issiah, A.J., Wacey, T.J., Kellan, B.J., K.J., James, Andrew; Stacy’s great nieces and nephews Lennox, Lexxi, mckennley, Hylan, Judah, Mackenzie, Kylie, Remi, Tavish, Legend and Luca; maternal grandparent Hazel (Sunny) Bullshields; paternal grandparents Mary and Allan Red Crow; uncles Gordon (Natalie) Morning Bird, Richard (Glenda) Red Crow; aunties Betty Morning Bird and Maureen Red Crow, Stacy is predeceased by her mother Yvonne, sister Melanie; step father Brain Bruised Head, brother Everett Morning Bird; aunts Andrea and Cecillia; great niece Nova Evonty and cousins Jon Singer and Sonny Morning Bird. Stacy left home when she was a teenager. Lived in Edmonton then moved to B.C. And stayed. Stacy worked in construction and as a community support worker for native women in downtown Vancouver till her passing. A Wake Service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve, AB on wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve, AB on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Stand Off, AB.
