A. ELAINE SANDERSON, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister made her exit peacefully on Friday evening, March 28, 2019, at the age of 75.
Elaine is survived by her husband Garry; their three children; Brian, Karen, and Kathleen (Grant) Hastings; their 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; her brothers Tom and Mark Atkinson, and her sister Betty-Lyn Appel.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Elizabeth (Betty) and Cliff Atkinson.
Elaine was born in Regina, Saskatchewan October 3rd, 1943. She was the oldest of 4 children. Elaine loved music and story telling, and often shared her love of both with family and friends. She was blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and had a passion for Genealogy and Family History work. The impact Mom has made in all of our lives will cascade like ripples, spreading far and wide. She will be tremendously missed.
Special thanks to Dr. Bob Crawford and the staff of the Lee Crest Cottage that had such compassion and care for Elaine during her stay there.
A Funeral Service for Elaine will be held on Saturday April 6th, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,
TEMPLE STREET CHAPEL, 355 3rd St. W. Cardston, AB, with Bishop Cody Toone officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the Service at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment to follow in the Cardston Cemetery, Cardston.
