BARBARA MAE SHEEN passed away peacefully, October 23, 2018, in the Cardston hospital.
Barbara leaves to mourn her husband of 48 years, Ken Sheen. Also her children; Alan (Becky) Sheen, Collette (Donovan) Blackmore, and Rodney (Elizabeth) Sheen. Her three grandsons, Jeffrey Sheen, Preston Sheen, Jackson Sheen, and two granddaughters, Chie-ann (Kyle) June, and Leia Blackmore.
Pre-deceased by her father, Harold Leavitt, she leaves her mother, Lucille Leavitt, brothers Vern (Valarie) Leavitt, Boyd (Nadine) Leavitt and sisters Sharon (Reece) Bevans and Penny (Rick) Clarke.
Also, many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Born Aug. 13, 1948, Barbara went to school in Leavitt, Cardston, and the University of Lethbridge. She enjoyed riding her horse Blaze, social events in the communities of Leavitt and Jefferson, and spending time with her extended family, children, and grandchildren. She has influenced the lives of many with her involvement in various sport and guild activities such as softball, golf, and quilting, always willing to learn, teach, and participate.
Friends may meet the family on Friday, October 26th, 2018 at the Legacy Funeral Home in Cardston from 7:00 to 8:00 p m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Cardston cemetery on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
