ELVIS CLOVIS SHOT ON BOTH SIDES, passed away on March 24, 2021 at the Cardston Hospital at the age of 64 years.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Elvis Clovis Shot On Both Sides.
Elvis was born on December 12th 1956 in Cardston, Alberta to Delphine and Clovis Shot Both Sides.
He is survived by his wife Gail First Charger; sons Darryl and Dwight First Charger; daughter Chantell; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister Colleen Shot Both Sides; brother Charles Shot Both Sides; numerous nieces and nephews; his aunties Christine (Roy) Bare Shin Bone, Clara Chief Moon, Lena Shot Both Sides, Gabriell Hairy Bull, Maryanne (Matthew) Chief Moon, Florence (Richard) Right Hand and Bertha Chief Moon; uncles Alfred, Christopher, Donald and Jim (Linda) Shot Both Sides, Johnny, Jordan, Edward (Elaine), Keith (Karen) Chief Moon.
Elvis received his education in Hill Spring, Cardston, Lethbridge College and at Red Crow Community College. In his younger days he enjoyed riding horses and helping his grandfather around the farm. As he grew older he continued working for farmers driving various machineries, he also did a lot of construction building patios, fencing and working various jobs. He was the jack of all trades. Elvis had a lot of love for his family and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Elvis was predeceased by his son Casey; his daughter Carolyn; 3 grandchildren; father Clovis; mother Delphine; brothers Calvin and Delbert; sisters Doris Gros Ventre Boy and Joyce Shot Both Sides; his paternal grandparents Jim and Annie Shot Both Sides, Tom Long Time Squirrel and Philomena Morning Owl.

A Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Thursday April 8 from 9:00 - 11:00 am (Due to New COVID regulations, the building will be closed periodically for sanitizing) with a Family Service to follow at 11:00 am. (Due to COVID - Only 20 people will be allowed into the service) Interment to follow at Pioneer Cemetery.
