Amazing is the word we often used to describe Natasha - lively, excited, enthusiastic and fun. We will miss her terribly.
Natasha Bree Smith passed from this life to the next on November 30, 2023 into the arms of her Grandpa Craig after a long struggle with mental health issues and addiction.
Natasha was born on February 12, 1998 to Carol Lynn Smith and Nathan Olsen. She was also loved and raised by her grandparents, Craig and Colleen Smith.
She grew up loving farm life and animals, especially cats, dogs , horses and goats. She was a natural horsewoman and became an amateur show jumper. She loved her dog Trixie, her cats Moo Moo and Hunter and even as a child was fearless with the family goat herd. She was a gifted artist and naturally athletic, a fast runner and high jumper. She loved climbing tall trees in search of nests and eggs. She could jump a 5 wire barbed wire fence straight on without a scratch. She was a hard worker, played the piano and loved to sing. She loved her family and her friends.
Natasha has left a hole in our lives. We look forward to the day when we will see her again and know that through the Savior Jesus Christ she will find healing, comfort and peace.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 8th at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Glenwood, Alberta chapel. Family and friends are invited to meet the family from 10:00 am to 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Glenwood Cemetery.
