Tamaras children were her pride and joys and the light of her life. She would always share stories about them with her siblings and adopted family. She was always so proud of their milestones and accomplishments, and she always wanted the best for all her children.
At a very young age she was taken and raised by Regina Hunt, she loved her very much and spoke fondly of her, she called Regina's sister Della Mills "Grandma" and adopted their children as her brothers and sisters.
Tamara was also raised by Lydia (Marvin) Mistaken Chief; that is where she grew to love horses and her dream was to become a barrel racer. Up until her passing she always told her mom Lydia that she wanted her youngest daughter Nyasunday to become a barrel racer.
In 2007 she met her biological brothers and sisters for the first time at their mother Jackie's funeral service, from then on she became very close with all of them; creating a special bond with each one, especially her oldest brother Geronimo. She will be missed greatly by him, his most treasured memory of her will be the way her face would light up when she seen her big brother waiting at the door for one of their visits, and ran to him like a little girl with open arms. She will be missed for her late night calls with everyone, especially by her sister in-law Kerri.
She met the father of her children Safraz Khan in 2009, though they parted ways they remained close for the sake of their children. She was loved unconditionally by him, and he loved her like no man ever would. Tamara attended school at Saipoyi, Tatsikiisaapo'p Middle School and Kainai High
School.
Tamara had a heart of gold, she instantly became friends and loved whomever she met, and instantly adopted them as family. She was so talented in many ways, Tamara was young when she decided she wanted to pursue her dream as a jingle dress dancer, auntie Sandy Many Feathers was her inspiration and had gifted her with her very own Jingle Dress and encouraged Tamara to follow her dreams.
