Miranda Joyce Spear Chief “Randi” passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta on January 20, 2022 at the age of 55 years old.
Miranda is survived by her children, Elisha Spear Chief (Mandel Retzler) and Joseph Yellow Feet; grandchildren, Gabriel Yellow Feet, Anika Spear Chief, Kaylee, Gracie, Makayla, Jordan Yellow Feet, Jayden, Johnny Jr. Yellow Feet; brother, Gilbert Spear Chief; sister Shelly Vielle; nieces and nephews Keegan Spear Chief, Deidre Spear Chief, Sinjin Spear Chief, Amber and numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews; auntie Beverly Morning Owl, uncle Martin Vielle. She is predeceased by her mother Annie Spear Chief, Dad Ernest Hunt, biological father Jeffery Morning Owl; children Johnny Yellow Feet, Mandy Spear Chief; grandparents Harry and Winnie Spear Chief; uncles Allan (Isabel), Harry (Maryanne), Gordon (Christine), Reggie Spear Chief, and Pete; aunties Minnie Eagle Tail Feathers, Cecile Spear Chief, Harriet Spear Chief. Miranda’s extended relatives are the Spear Chief, Shouting, White Man Left, Red Crow, Eagle Plume, Across The Mountain, Shot Both Sides, Morning Owl, Weasel Head families. The family apologizes for anyone missed. The Wake Service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm at the White Calf Hall, Stand Off, AB. The Funeral Service will take place at the White Calf Hall, Stand Off, AB on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
