Annie Stabbed Last-Good Dagger “ Natowainihki” (Holy Singer)
Annie passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Pincher Creek Hospital at the age of 85 years old. Annie was born on October 23, 1933 at Bassano, Alberta.
Annie was the granddaughter of Eagle Rib, signatory to the Blackfoot Treaty of 1877. Annie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind heart.
Annie will be remembered by her daughters; Elizabeth (Maniel) Big Swan, Gloria Little Moustache and Pauline (Melvin) Knife. Grandchildren Laine Knife, Lyndon Knife, Katie Little Moustache, Brett Big Swan, Hannah Big Swan and four Great grandchildren. Special friend Roselyn Creighton, special nieces Joan Spring Chief, Margaret Rabbit-Good Dagger, Marilyn Little Chief, Colleen Sitting Eagle, Susan Spring Chief and Tammara Low Horn. Her sister Christine Little Chief, brother Roy (Linda) Little Chief, sister in laws; Jean Eagle Child, Rosie Reyes, In-laws; Theresa Vielle, Corolla Calf Robe and numerous Nieces and Nephews of Siksika Nation whom she took as her children. Annie was predeceased by her husband; Blaise Good Dagger, child; Gloria Ann, grandchildren; Brent Stabbed Last, Thomas Good Dagger and Jacqueline Stabbed Last, parents; Joseph and Jane (Eagle Rib) Little Chief, Sisters; Noella Low Horn, Mary Margaret Wolfleg, Clarissa Little Chief, Elizabeth Spring Chief, Florence, Eunice Yellow Horse. Brothers; Philip and Thomas Little Chief.
A Wake Service will be at the White Calf Hall, Stand Off on Wednesday, Nov. 21st from 6:00 - 11:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at White Calf Hall on Thursday, Nov. 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
