It is with great sadness that the family of LYLE MORLEY TOEWS, announce his passing.  Lyle Toews of Fort Macleod, AB born on August 15, 1955 the son of Edward and Doreen Toews, loving husband of Stacey Day Chief-Toews passed away at the age of 66 on Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home in Old Agency, Blood Reserve, AB after battling with COPD.  Lyle is survived by his children Heidi (Howard), Jessie, Josh (Amanda), Carolina (Russ) and Emerald. He has 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  His siblings Cathy (Brian) Rarick, Brenda (Jim) Rathwell, Margaret, Susan (Lynn), Vicki, Trudy (Mark), Tyler (Candace) and Ryan (Nicole).  Lyle had to many nieces & nephews to mention by name with 11 nephews, 12 nieces and 10 great nephews/nieces along with his God-Son, Evans Day Chief.  Lyle was pre-deceased by his brother Gary, daughter Elizabeth and grandson Jackson Morley Robert.  Also, his adopted daughter Jolene Shouting, mother-in-law Julianna Day Chief (nee Weasel Moccasin) and brother-in-law Randolph Gros Ventre Boy.
