It is with profound and devastating grief that we, the family of Brittany Twigg announce her sudden passing in Standoff, Alberta on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Brittany will be reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. She joins her parents Joshua and Christal Twigg. her brother Lane and most recently Chantelle Twigg. Her grandparents James and Celina Twigg and Chris and Rhonda Humphrey. Her aunts and uncles, Doreen Hurd, Leonard, Lenora Geraldine, Antonio, Charlie, Sheldon and Kimberly Twigg. Her favourite Cousins, Tarasina Twigg and Abigail Twigg. Brittany leaves behind to mourn her passing, her children, Kadence, Jasmine, Joshua Jr, Christina, Tina, Malaya, and P. Her grandmother, Bernadette Davis, her siblings, Cody Day Chief, John, Celina Twigg and Josiahand Lachelle Red Crane. Her aunts and uncles, Desiree Auger, Carolyn, Annette, Roxanne (Alfie), Michelle (Byron), Leslie (Gary) Humphrey, Brandy (Vincent) Bellhumer, Clayton, Cory, Wayne (Tiffany) Twigg, and Leo Paul White Quills. Her favourite cousins, Antonio Gales, Coleman Twigg, Keelie Scout, and Lauren Good Dagger. Great aunties, Veronica (Ray) Brewer, Christine Big Throat-Good Dagger, Joanne Twigg, and uncle, Donald Big Swallow.
Brittany was the oldest child born to Joshua and Christal Twigg. For a time, she lived on the Blood Reserve until they moved to Lethbridge. She attended various schools on the Reserve and Lethbridge. Brittany loved her family especially her parents and younger siblings. She was very patient with kids and didn’t mind caring for them spending hours playing with them. She had a special place in her heart for her grandparents, especially Rhonda Humphrey. Brittany treated her aunties and uncles with tremendous love and respect never once being unhappy with them, unkind or uncaring towards them. In her early twenties Brittany moved to Calgary where she resided until a year before her passing. Brittany will be missed by her family and everyone who had a chance to know her.

A Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, December 27 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at The Immaculate Conception Church (St. Mary’s Catholic Church) Blood Reserve, on Thursday December 28 at 11:00 am. Interment at the Twigg Family Cemetery.
