HELGA TYNAN, age 83, passed away suddenly on February 10th, 2018 in Raymond, Alberta. She was born in Germany and was the youngest of 3 children. At 20 years old while traveling and working in Canada, she met and married Ray Tynan. They had 5 children. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in any calling asked of her. Her strong testimony of God is what she based her life on. She had a passion for reading and learning throughout her life. She became a Real Estate broker and also worked tirelessly for the town’s winter carnival as the treasurer. Her handwork ethic, devotion and drive left the organization running smoothly and in the black. Her next 20 year adventure/retirement was ranching where they filled their days doing what they loved. In their later years, they moved to Magrath to be closer to family.
