He then attended Lethbridge Community College soon after graduation and received his welding certificate then later attended Red Crow College where he began his University studies. Kyle recently had plans to pursue further educaton and attend the University of Lethbridge this coming September. After attending Red Crow College, Kyle decided to seek employment. His places of employment include Blackfoot Automotive, Standoff Health Center, Saipoyi Community School, Titan Auto Spa, Coulee Brewing Company, Western Tractor, ICI and Bridge Valley Golf Course. Wherever Kyle worked, his co-workers experienced his friendliness and his ability to accept anyone who crossed his path.
Kyle was an avid skateboarder, snowboarder, mechanic, fisherman, and he loved dirtbiking as well. He loved the great outdoors and nature itself. He would often drive to the Timber Limits and later share what he experienced. One time he saw a wolverine further up the trails at night. From a young boy to the present, Kyle was so loved by all who knew him–family, friends, and co-workers. He would make everyone around him laugh as he had a quick wit for jokes. He often teased his brother Dwight, sister Shauna and cousins Lacey, Brittany and Elaina who could not retaliate as they got older. Kyle loved family get-togethers such as barbeques, birthday parties, weddings, graduations and mom Kelli’s holiday cooking such as at Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
In his younger days, Kyle spent much of his time with friends and relatives at the Lions Park skate park or just cruising around especially with Clay Creighton, Chase Tail Feathers, Shey Eagle Bear, Cash Shade, Buddy Eagle Bear, Chayse Buckskin, Russ Viola, Christian Nelson, Piinaakoyiim Tail Feathers, Neil Fox, Husky First Charger, Brady Shultz and many others. Their friendship remains today. Kyle would spend lots of time at grandma Sophie’s house, he also loved to visit his cousin neighbors like Cody Willows, Tyson Scout, Mike Scout and Rudy Tallow. He would say “See you in a bit mom and dad.”
Kyle loved nice vehicles and went to car shows, especially when he went to Edmonton for a few months this past year. He would awe over the souped-up cars and trucks. Just recently, Kyle installed new exhaust on his vehicle and was proud of it.
Kyle travelled to Hamilton and Auckland, New Zealand and Honolulu, Hawaii in 2005. He travelled with his mom Kelli and friend Neil Fox, as well and with KBE’s WIPCE group. Kyle spoke of returning to these places in the future. Kelli remembers them constantly shopping, visiting the Waitomo Caves and Glow Worm Caves in New Zealand, then swimming at Waikiki Beach, visiting Pearl Harbor and touring the island of Oahu. Kyle often laughed about Cyn’s pitstops at New Zealand and Hawaii. There is a picture of Kyle sitting on the edge of an extinct volcano at Auckland, New Zealand.
Kyle had special bonds with those he loved, especially with his mom Kelli. He would say that his mom is the strongest person he knows. He was always in touch with mom whether calling her cell or home. He never hung up without saying, “Love you Mom!” Mom always made great efforts to see Kyle at least once a week. Mom was his pillar.
Kyle will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His unconditional love will live with us always. The Creator gave us the gift of Kyle and now he’s served his mission on earth. He’s gone on his journey to Heaven to be with his Baby Kaley and beloved families forever.
