EDWIN (Ted) WILSON

Beloved husband of Maxine Wilson of Mountain View, AB passed away at the age of 95. Ted was born in Cardston to Roy and Ella (Haslam) Wilson. Besides his loving wife Maxine of 31 years, he leaves behind four children. Bob (Monica), Bill (Nancy), Lyanne (Mark) Kabayama and Patti (Ron) Johnson, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 sister Marilyn (Jim) Cahoon and 1 sister-in-law Rita Wilson. He is also survived by 1 stepson Scott (Dawn) Hanson and 2 step daughters Margo (Andy) Wood and Tannie (Ken) Milleman.
He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Ella, 3 sisters Eva (George) Sloan, Arlene (Don) Strate, Marie (Wayne) Crabtree and 1 brother Tom.
Ted married Jean Carlson (deceased) and worked several local jobs after graduating high school in Cardston. Ted and Jean purchased a ranch south of Cardston where they raised their four children. Ted was never far from the ranch where he raised cattle for 65 years and continued to drive down from the Birdseye Ranch, Mountain View daily after selling to his son Bob and wife Monica. Earlier this spring Ted could still be seen on the tractor harrowing and raking. Ted had a great sense of humor and was highly regarded by family and friends and business associates.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
