HELEN (STRATE) WOOLF, beloved wife of the late Marion Woolf, passed away in Cardston on April 26, 2019, at the age of 93.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Marion Woolf; her parents, Delance and Theressa Strate; her brothers Dee, Orene, and Sheldon; and her sisters Gladys (Rechner) and Betty (Chisholm).
Helen grew up in Waterton where she also raised her family. She is survived by a sister, Vanita Davidson, a brother Don Strate and her five children: Phil (Sharon) Woolf, Marie (Grant) Cahoon, Doran (Betsy) Woolf, Randy (Jill) Woolf, and Tracy (Ted) King. She has 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Helen's greatest joy in life was to enjoy her family. She loved cooking, music, and visiting with family and friends. Many friends and family who visited Waterton remember how graciously she showed her love by sharing her fresh buns, homemade pies, and wonderful meals. Helen also made lovely quilts for her children and knit afghans for each grandchild.
She will be dearly missed by many but will be happy to reunite with her husband after 22 years. Helen served with her husband for many summers in the Waterton Branch. They also served together as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spokane, Washington.

Funeral services will be held at the Waterton Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 pm. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 12:00 - 12:45 pm. Interment to follow at the Waterton Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Lee Crest & Dr. Brian Low for their devoted care.
