
DENNIS F WRIGHT passed away in the Cardston hospital on Tuesday September 15th, 2020 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Amy of 46 years, his two sons, Joseph (Pamela), and Jared (Natalie) and his two daughters Sandra Gilchrist (Steve) and Cindy Lloyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Vera Wright and a sister, Wynona Purnell. Dennis is also survived by his siblings Therol Wright, Dorothea Fisher, Bryda Houseman and Don Wright.
Before his illness, Dennis worked at the baptistry at the Alberta Temple in Cardston for 20 years and served five LDS Church missions with his wife here in Cardston. During 1957-1960 he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Africa and loved it. Dennis will be remembered by his family and friends for his great love of the scriptures, the Church, and the prophets.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston, AB., on Saturday, September 19th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 pm prior to the service. Those who wish to attend are welcome-Social Distancing. Interment to follow in the Beazer Cemetery.
