Colleen Beth Yuill, beloved wife of the late Barry Yuill peacefully passed away in Taber on May 2, 2024 at the age of 91 years.
Colleen leaves to mourn, her BEST daughters Shirley (Greg) Francis of Taber, AB and Patricia (Joseph) Vanden Dungen of Lethbridge, AB. She is also survived by her favorite daughter-in-law Shirlee Yuill (Craig) Miller, 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Leo Wright of Las Vegas, NV and David (Denise) Wright of Raymond, AB and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Colleen was predeceased by her husband Barry, her son Donald, her great-grandson Ethan, her parents Zeldon and Della Wright, 3 brothers Ordell, Willis and Gregory, along with many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Colleen loved her family first and foremost. They were the most important treasure of her life. She always loved the mountains and foothills in her back yard and spent as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. She was also a very talented, successful artist with her art finding homes across the globe.
Mom, we love you tons and tons and tons and even more!!
We are so grateful for the loving care Mom enjoyed from everyone at the Clearview Lodge in Taber, the care and kindness shown to her by Dr. Ryan Torrie, Dr. Zielke and Monique at the Heart Function Clinic in Lethbridge, Dr. Dimanski and Dr. Li at the Kidney Clinic in Calgary. We thank you all.
Friends may meet the family on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00-10:45 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Barnwell Chapel (498 5 avenue S). The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cardston Cemetery.
