MARILYN YVONNE (COOMBS) ADAMS, beloved wife of Phillip Welling Adams, passed away peacefully in the Cardston Hospital on February 20, 2019. Marilyn was born in Bassano, Alberta on July 23, 1951. She lived briefly on a family farm in Rosemary, Alberta, but most of her memories were of growing up in a little white corner home on the East Hill in Cardston, Alberta.
Marilyn was a consummate homemaker. She taught her daughters how to cook and sew and knit and she learned how to do intricate tatting and lace. She loved doing puzzles and playing games. She was very competitive and her laugh was infectious. She loved to visit with friends and made friends easily. Her husband was often impatient with her as he was the first one out the door after church, while she always took her time to visit with everyone on the way out. She was fiercely protective of her little family and deeply devoted to her church. Her beautiful smile and generous and loving nature will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
